The Residenzschloss, beside the Hofkirche in Dresden’s old town, houses the Green Vault treasuries of the Saxon electors, the armoury and the coin cabinet, run by the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden. The Historic Green Vault admits visitors on timed tickets: book well ahead on skd.museum.
